PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driverless client terminal which can control a printing device even when a network with a Web server is disconnected and can perform character code conversion with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A client terminal 2 which comprises a standard Web browser 27 and is connected with a Web server 1 and a printing device 3 comprises a Web page acquisition unit in which the Web browser 27 acquires a Web page 40 in which a print control script 42 is embedded from the Web server 1, a Web page display unit which displays the acquired Web page 40 and executes the print control script 42, a character code conversion unit which converts a script character code into a printing device character code using the print control script 42, and a command transmission unit which transmits a command including the converted printing device character code to the printing device 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
