PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet processing machine and paper sheet processing method that can prevent an accident in which, when a plurality of storage bags are mounted in a housing, the storage bags other than a storage bag to be recovered is removed and recovered from a mounting unit, and hence can improve the anti-theft property while exhibiting the versatility in application.SOLUTION: A paper sheet processing machine (for example, bill processing machine 10) includes: a plurality of mounting units 32 on which storage bags (for example, bill storage bag 34) are mounted, respectively; regulating means for regulating, for each mounting unit 32, the access to the storage bag mounted on each mounting unit 32; and a control unit for controlling the regulating means so that, when a storage bag is removed and recovered from a certain mounting unit 32, the access to the storage bags mounted on the other mounting units 32 is regulated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
