PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle occupant support body for enhanced comfortability and usability, of a vehicle provided with a structure for crash load protection for an occupant.SOLUTION: An occupant support device for an occupant is provided with a seat back part on which major support is given by a center spine part. The center spine part supports a plurality of vertebra parts. Each of the plurality of vertebra parts is mounted slidably to a certain cross section of the center spine part. Control of positions of the plurality of vertebra parts is carried out by individually correcting the respective positions of the plurality of vertebra parts on the spine part by using a spool controlled by the occupant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 65
