PURPOSE:To generate various kinds of musical sounds by providing a parameter storage means, reading out successively a parameter stored therein and forming successively a waveform signal of every section based on the read-out parameter. CONSTITUTION:A musical sound signal forming circuit 40 is connected to a bus. A phase information generating circuit 42 accumulates frequency data by synchronizing with a channel timing, and supplies successively phase information (wt) for showing a phase of a waveform signal to a sine wave table 45 and an adder 46 by synchronizing with the channel timing. The table 45 reads out a stored sine wave, based on the phase (wt) and outputs it to a multiplier 43. The multiplier 43 multiplies an output of the sine wave concerned by envelope data and outputs it to the adder 46, and the adder 46 adds both inputs, and supplies its value to a sine wave table 47. The table 47 reads out the stored sine wave, based on the added value, and a multiplier 44 multiplies this output and the envelope data and outputs its result, and it is converted to an analog signal by an A/D converter, and sounded. In such a way, various shapes of musical sound controlling waveform signals can be formed. |
