PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a developing device constituted so that the developer layer of the surface of a developing roller is eliminated every one rotation of the developing roller, developer housed in a casing is smoothly fed to the surface of the developing roller and the new developer is always supplied to it. SOLUTION: This developing device is provided with a thin plate member 15 which can be elastically deformed and which is supported and fixed on the upstream side and the downstream side in the rotating direction of the developing roller 13 arranged in the developing device so that one part of the circumferential surface of the roller 13 is pressed extending over the width direction of the roller 13 from the inside of the casing 9 by the trunk part thereof. Then, plural holes are made extending over the whole surface of the plate member 15. The plate member 15 is provided with the plural first holes made at the trunk part brought into contact with the circumferential surface of the roller 13 and the plural second holes made at a part which is not pressed to the roller 13, and the second holes are provided with larger area than that of the first holes. |
