1278618 Holography AMERICAN OPTICAL CORP 24 Oct 1969 [5 Dec 1968] 52252/69 Heading G2J Holographic apparatus comprises a laser 12 and beam-splitter 14 giving an angled reference beam and an object beam passing normally through a scatter plate S and objects O, a hologram plate 20 rotatable in steps A'-D' about the longitudinal axis of the object beam, said steps being equivalent to successive exposures for different objects using reference beam paths A-D, the resultant hologram being located to be illuminated by a normal reconstructing beam, Fig.2, whereby a circular array of images of object O form in plane O' and of point sources caused by scatter plate S form in plane S', an apertured mask 30 located in plane S' having but a single aperture 32, the hologram 20 being rotatable through steps A'-D' whereby a single desired source image passes aperture 32 and is projected on to a second image plane O". |
