PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and smoothly transfer the data and also to prevent the wrong transfer of data by writing the card data read by a magnetic card reader into an IC card and performing the transfer control of the card data with no change of them. SOLUTION: When an IC card 15 to be transferred is put into a card slit 14, an IC card reader reads the card 15. Then the items are shown on a display 17 to request insertion of a magnetic card 12. The card 12 is put into a slit 11 and the data on the card 12 are read by a magnetic card reader. When the normal reading of the card 12 is decided, it's confirmed that the card 15 is a new IC card. Then the read data of the card 12 are sent to a host computer to confirm propriety of the processing of the card data. If this confirmation is approved to the host computer, the data read out of the card 12 and directly written into the card 15 by the IC card reader with no change of them. |
