Isomerase for conversion of d-glucose to - d-fructose

Immobilised complexes of glucosic isomerase enzymes are prepared by reacting glucosic isomerase with a basic anion exchanger cellulose by mixing in an aqs. buffer at pH of 7 and 10, and recovering the enzyme complex. The isomerase is obtained from the growth fermentation product of micro-organisms, pref. of the types Streptomyces phaechromogenes and Lactobacillus brevis.
