PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and more accurately calculate a collision of a body in a virtual space by detecting whether or not bodies cross each other and estimating their collision. SOLUTION: A body shape information input device 101 inputs shape information on bodies needed for collision calculation. An extent shape input device 102 inputs extent shape information on the individual bodies inputted by the body shape information input device 101. A collision decision device 103 checks interference between pieces of circumscribed shape information on the basis of circumscribed shape information inputted from the extent shape input device 102 to decide whether or not bodies collide against each other. A complexity setting device 201 for shape information obtains the extent shape information from the extent shape input device 102 to set the complexity of the shape information. A collision calculating device 203 calculates the collision time and collision position of the bodies according to the complexity of the shape information inputted by the complexity setting device 201 and resource information inputted by a resource information input device 202. |
