Tube compensator between two tube ends - has reinforced vulcanised rubber gaiter with holding rings and clamping profile

The tube compensator has an elastically deformable gaiter fitted between the ends of two tube ends. The cord or fabric reinforcement is vulcanised into the gaiter material and reinforcement layers are wound around the stabilising rings at the tube ends and into the gaiter middle part with forward and backward overlap. The compensator ensures protection against tearing when the compensator is highly pressurised. The outside clamping ring (43) has a U-shaped profile whose inwards directed circumferential groove (40) encloses a large part of the vulcanised stabilising ring from the outside. On the gaiter is vulcanised a radially projecting sealing collar and the clamping ring has a radially outwards projecting flange (46) which forms a circular contact face for the vulcanised sealing collar (47).
