Precision grinding spindle bearing assembly - has fluid feeding channels of housing open to grooves of bush outside surface

The design ensures axial location of the spindle driven by an rmature of the h.f. motor and supported by bearings. The bearing is axially free with a bush controlled by its shoulder and a pressure pad loaded by a Belleville washer. The high-precision ball bearings are oil-mist lubricated through a feed line terminating in a channel which opens at the outside surface of the bush. Shoulders at the ends of the bush bound annular recesses which are interconnected by grooves controlling the distribution of the lubricant.
