<p>The locking bolt (8) has a cylindrical shape and its front end (13) locates through a bore in one flange (5) and into a blind hole (10) in the opposite flange. The retaining stud (14) slides in a groove (15) in the side of the through bore and is retained by a safety peg (11) in a lateral bore (12). The bolt is delivered fitted to the coupling and is not easily lost. It can only be completely pulled out of the flanges by breaking off the stud, which forms a shear pin fitting.</p> |
