PURPOSE:To improve the nonmagnetic property and the specific strength of an end ring for a generator and to enhance the impact toughness and breaking toughness by making the material of the end ring of an alloy cntaining specific contents of aluminum molybdenum, chromium and titanium. CONSTITUTION:An end ring 4 engaged with the end of a rotor for a generator is made of titanium series alloy containing by weight percentage 2.0-5.0% of aluminum, 1.0-5.0% of molybdenum, 6.1-9.0% of chromium, and the residue of titanium. In this manner, the reliability and the size of the generator can be increased. |
