PURPOSE:To obtain the state of the deposition distribution, by providing an ultrasonic sensor at a constant point on a waterway freely shakably toward many preliminarily set waterway bottom measure points to measure quantities of deposition of sand. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic sensor 4 is provided on a sensor fitting table 3 provided in an optional position in a waterway (a). The sensor fitting table 3 is shakable to make it possible that the ultrasonic sensor 4 radiates ultrasonic waves toward preliminarily set measure points A1, A2-An on the waterway bottom. The position of the ultrasonic sensor 4 is shaked and moved to points C1, C2-Cn. When the length from the point C1 to the measure point A, the length from the point C1 to a deposition surface B1, and the height of deposition of sand or the like are denoted as L, l1, and l2 respectively, l2=L-l1 is true. Since a radiation angle d1 of ultrasonic waves of the sensor is known, a height H2 of deposition of sand or the like in the vertical direction is obtained by equation H2=l2Xsin(90 deg.-alpha). This height is operated to display quantities of deposition distribution on a display equipment 5. |
