摘要 PURPOSE:To greatly promote the work efficiency of a reclaimer for delivering a conveyed material such as coal from a heap in accordance with an operation controller, by providing a heap detector near the tip of a boom to shorten the idle time of the reclaimer after the detection of the end of the heap. CONSTITUTION:A heap detector 18 employing an ultrasonic wave transmitter- receiver is installed on the bottom of a boom 12 near the rotary shaft of the bucket wheel 14 of a reclaimer. The signal of detection of a heap on a material yard is applied to a reclaimer operation controller 24. A delivery start point, a delivery end point and a delivery pattern are applied from a yard control calculator 28 to the controller 24 through a multiplex transmitter 30 to start the reclaimer. After the bucket wheel 14 is placed on the heap, delivery work is controlled on the basis of the output of the heap detector 18. When the turn angle of the boom 12 has become a heap end prediction angle, the turning of the boom is decelerated. When the end of the heap is detected, the turning of the boom 12 is stopped.
