Removal of insects from windscreen - by attachment of cleaning element to wiper blade

The insect cleaning arrangement is for a vehicle windscreen. It has a cleaning element which can be moved across the screen. The element (1) which can be a rotating or non-rotating piece of sponge or porous plastics material, or a brush, has a shorter length than the screen wiper blade and is attached to the wiper by a drive which enables the element to move in the longitudinal direction of the blade. USE/ADVANTAGE - Vehicle windscreen cleaning device which enables stubborn insect residue to be removed from the screen during vehicle travel.
