A moisture-resistant, mouldable, thermoformable laminate comprises (a) a layer of foamed thermoplastic with first and second surfaces and (b) a glass fibre layer bonded to at least one of the two surfaces. Pref. the foamed thermoplastic is foamed polystyrene, styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer, polyethylene, styrene- acrylonitrile and other styrene copolymrs, partic. foamed polystyrene or styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer. The layer of glass fibre may be impregnated with a resin. esp. acrylic of polyurethane and bonded to both first and second surfaces of the foamed thermoplastic. The laminates may be moulded into complex shapes withoug wrinkling as in paper faced laminates, and are useful as moulded headliners for automobile interiors.
