In a line filter having a first balun (L1), first Y capacitors (C1, C2), a first X capacitor (CX1), a second balun (L2), second Y capacitors (C3, C4) and a second X capacitor (CX2) connected between the input and output terminals of the line filter in the order named, the inductance of the first balun (L1) is larger than that of the second balun (L2). The total capacitance of the first Y capacitors (C1, C2) is larger than that of the second Y capacitors (C3, C4). The line filter can be divided into a front stage containing the first balun (L1) and a rear stage containing the second balun (L2), the two stages being coupled via a wiring. The second balun can be constituted by a plurality of baluns (L2a L2b, L2c). |
