The carburation control is determined by a program which includes engine parameters as well as environmental parameters. The control circuits are adaptive to allow the carburation to change as the conditions change. The amount of change per control cycle is limited, to provide a smooth control. The engine parameter changes can be in larger steps than the environmental changes, e.g response to air pressure changes.
