The equipment converts sections of tissue, particularly animal or vegetable, into granulate etc. using a cutter-mixer and extra-low-temp. liquefied gas. The tissue is accommodated in a dish (1) rotating on a vertical axis, knives (3) on a rotary horizontal shaft (4) penetrating into it and being shielded by a cover. The liquefied gas is delivered by feed pipe (11) to a spray nozzle (6). Seen in the direction of rotation (5) of the dish, the nozzle is mounted before the knives, and aimed at the tissue (7) in the dish immediately in front of them.
