PURPOSE: A high-luminosity liquid crystal display(LCD) is provided to greatly improve drawbacks of a conventional LCD by using a cholesteric liquid crystal film. CONSTITUTION: An LCD fabricating method comprises the steps of making the cholesteric liquid crystal film where a selective reflection wave length area includes a visible ray area; make a film of lambda/4 phase differential adhere to the film; and combining a light source, a reflection plate, a light plate, a diffusion plate, a cholesteric liquid crystal film having a phase differential film, a linearly polarized layer, and a liquid crystal cell. Therefore, it is possible to conspicuously improve conventional LCD drawbacks. |
