PURPOSE:To provide an electrical ELR seat belt device, with which the webbing can be drawn out at all times and wasteful power consumption is suppressed. CONSTITUTION:A takeup shaft 14 on which a webbing 16 is wound, is hindered from rotating in the direction of webbing drawing-out by means of engagement of ratchet teeth 46 of a lock wheel 42 with a pawl 70. A solenoid 74 is coupled with the pawl and is supplied with power from a battery 99 by putting on an ignition switch 94 or buckle switch 92 through a limit switch 88 and an acceleration sensor 90, and the pawl is held separated from the ratchet teeth in the condition with the power supplied. The contact of the limit switch is closed when the webbing 16 is drawn out a certain amount from the takeup shaft, while the contact of the buckle switch is opened when the seat belt is set and closed when out of setting. |
