SMALL-SIZE ENDOSTATIN DERIVATIVE PRODUCED BY GENETIC ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY AND ANTICANCER AGENT CONTAINING THE SAME AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

PURPOSE: Small-size endostatin is provided which shows anticancer efficacy as lower dosage than known endostatin derivatives. Therefore, the small-size endostatin is useful for effectively treating cancer without side effect. CONSTITUTION: Small-size endostatin having only 103 amino acids is produced by removing 30 amino acids of N terminal and 50 amino acid of C terminal from endostatin by using recombinant DNA technology. Also, its derivatives are produced by linking glutathione S transferase to the terminal of the small-size endostatin. The effective dose of small-size endostatin derivative is preferably about 0.5-5 mg/kg/day.
