发明名称 PLATE MAKING METHOD FOR PLANOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a large amt. of planographic printing plates to b e reproduced with always stable plate making characteristics even at a low temp. by using a developer contg. a specific amt. of thiocyanic acid ions, thereby enabling rapid plate making processing without defects and decreasing the total waste liquid volume of a processing liquid. CONSTITUTION:The developer contg. the thiocyanic acid ions is used in a stage for supplying the developer (applying the developer) only on the surface coated with silver halide emulsion layers. Namely, potassium thiocyanate, sodium thiocyanate, ammonium thiocyanate, etc., are used as the thiocyanic acid source and one or a plurality thereof are used and are added as the thiocyanic acid ions to the developer at 0.03 to 0.3mol per 1 liter developer. There are no defects and the rapid processing is possible in the method for developing the silver halide emulsion layers by supplying the developer only to the surfaces coated with these layers. A large amt. of the planographic printing plates are thus reproduced with always the good characteristics and the volume of the waste processing liquid is drastically lessened.
