Lifter

Lifter with a driven vehicle, having a base frame and supported on the ground via front and rear wheels, and a lifting frame which has a mast and at least one mast section guided telescopically on the mast. In this arrangement, the mast has two side stays spaced apart in parallel and if need be at least one centre stay arranged between the side stays. The stays are supported on a cross member which at the same time forms the axle for the front wheels and is connected at the rear to the base frame. The cross member is linked to the base frame about an axis parallel to the wheel axle, and at least one stay variable in length is linked close to the top end to the mast. The stay variable in length is linked at the bottom end to the chassis of the vehicle.
