On a regulating damper (3) of a heating and ventilation device air-guiding surfaces (14, 15) to that side of the regulating damper (3) which faces a cold-air bypass are connected to each other by a roof (16) so that a closed air-guiding duct is produced. This concentrates the cold air flow onto the centre of a mixing chamber of the heating and ventilation device. By this means, depending on the arrangement of the outlets either temperature stratification or uniformity of temperature can be achieved at all outlets. <IMAGE>
