PURPOSE:To speed up the monitor processing by reading the I/O information required for the picture plane designated by a registration request command from an I/O buffer memory to edit and regist and by monitoring solely the delivery of picture plane table number from the external CRT monitor device side. CONSTITUTION:After the initial processing during the serial interface service, YES or NO is decided for the input of any command from external CRT monitor device 1. When the command is put in, the contents thereof are analyzed and when the command requires the registering of monitor information, the I/O information required for the picture plane designated by the command is read from an I/O buffer memory 23 to edit into the monitor information and to register the information on the corresponding picture plane table. When the command requires additionally the registering of monitor information, the monitor information of the table corresponding to the picture plane designated by the commant is read out to send it to the external CRT device. |
