PURPOSE:To obtain a herbicidal composition excellent in durability of herbicidal effect and exhibiting an excellent effect not only on an annual grass but on a perennial grass by using a chloroacetanilide-based herbicide and an isopropylideneoxazolidinedione-based herbicide in combination. CONSTITUTION:This herbicidal composition is prepared by using 2-chloro-N-(3- methoxy-2-thenyl)-2',6'-dimethylacetanilide of formula I and 3N-(2-fluoro-4- chlorocyclopentyloxyphenyl)-5-isopropylidene-1,3-oxazolidine-2,4-dione of formula II in combination as the active components. As for the mixture ratio in this composition, the preferable amount of the compound of formula II is within a range of 0.1 to 10 pts.wt., especially 1 to 3 pts.wt. based on 1 pts.wt. compound of formula I. This composition can exhibit an excellent effect and an excellent durability without damaging a paddy rice. |
