PURPOSE: To revise effectively a spatial characteristic of a loudspeaker system by providing two operating ranges consisting of variable attenuation for high frequency and medium frequency sound range components only and sufficient attenuation for all the components to the device. CONSTITUTION: An audio unit includes a volume/dynamic equalization control 20, a balance control 30 and a fader control 40. Each of the control sections is respectively independent and regarded as the separate sections and utilized. Furthermore, the audio unit includes a fader control that is acted in a 1st medium range to revise relative strength of high frequency sound (treble)/medium frequency sound range (mid range) spectral components of a sound signal between a front and a rear of a multi-speaker system without substantially unchanging a low sound frequency component and also acted in at least one end range where all frequency components are attenuated.
