PURPOSE:To provide a permanent magnet of the resin binding type with a light degree of thermal oxidation of magnetic power and a slight decrease of magnetic performance when a rate earth type magnetic represented by a NdFeB type permanent magnet of the resin binding type is used under a high- temperature environment. CONSTITUTION:Resin magnetic materials comprising an intermetallic compound magnetic powder which contains as its main component an R-T-B (R is Nd and or Pr, or part of these are substituted with or more than two kinds of rate earth element; T is a 3d group transition metallic element with Fe as its main component; and B is boron), an easily oxidizable metal powder, and a thermosetting resin, and its mixing ratio of the intermetallic compound magnetic powder and the easily oxidizable metal powder is established in a range from 99:1 to 90:10. A permanent magnet of the resin binding type is obtained by compressing and forming this resin magnet materials. |
