PURPOSE:To protect a cover against heat from an inflator with a simple structure by cutting a stationary member located between a gas generator attaching part and a cover attaching part so as to raise heat radiating parts and form through-holes. CONSTITUTION:An inflator 41 for ejecting gas is fitted and fixed in an inflator fitting hole 26 as the gas generator attaching part which is formed in the center part of a base board part of a base plate 22 as a stationary member. Meanwhile, leg piece parts 63 of a cover body with which an air bag 51 is covered, are fitted and fixed in an attaching plate part 24 formed around the base board part 23. Heat radiating parts 45 are cut and raised, being located between inflator attaching holes 27 and cover body attaching holes 31 so as to form through-holes 36. Accordingly, heat generated from the inflator 41 can hardly be transmitted to the cover body 61, and thereby it is possible to protect the inflator 41 against the heat. |
