PURPOSE:To measure a flow rate with high precision by providing a straightening device at the upstream side of a correlation type flow meter. CONSTITUTION:The straightening device 4 is provided at the upstream side of the correlation type flow meter 2 and the main body part of this straightening device 4 is larger in diameter than its inflow part and outflow part. Consequently, when solid-vapor two-phase fluid is guided to the inflow part and flowed in the main part, its flow passage is expanded, so the solid is diffused in the conveyed vapor as the flow passage in the main body is expanded even if the solid in the fluid enters a heterogeneous state like a drift, spiral flow, etc., in piping 1, so the fluid flowing out to the outflow part has a uniform solid concentration distribution. Thus, the flow rate of the solid in the solid-vapor two-phase fluid is measured with high precision.
