<p>PURPOSE:To produce a bottle body and a grip integrally through blow-molding by a method comprising a premolding step, a primary blowing step, and a step for draw-blowing a preform subjected to the primary blowing using a blow cavity having the die part for the bottle body and grip. CONSTITUTION:The method for producing a plastic bottle with grip comprises a premolding step, a primary blowing step, and a draw-blowing step. In the premolding step, a preform shorter than final molded bottle having a thick die part 40 for grip is molded using an injection cavity. In the primary blowing step, the preform is subjected to blow molding only at the upper part Pa thereof excluding the injection cavity. In the draw-blowing step, the preform is subjected to draw-blowing using a blow cavity 42 equipped with die parts 39, 40 for the bottle body and the grip. This method produces a plastic bottle having high mechanical strength wherein the grip part has no possibility of falling off.</p> |
