PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain electrolytic acidic water whose available chlorine concentration is high without increasing power for electrolysis, enlarging an electrolytic acidic water producing machine and increasing the concentration of chlorine water to be electrolyzed. SOLUTION: A parallelepipedous electrolytic bath 1 is divided into two areas by providing a diaphragm 2 made of a low resistance neutral porous membrane in the center of the parallelepipedous electrolytic bath 1, and chlorine compound- added water supply openings 3 are provided at both ends of the lower part of each of the areas, discharge openings 4 are provided in the center of the upper portion of each of the areas, a mesh electrode 5 is provided in each of the areas, and a direct current power supply 6 is connected between both mesh electrodes 5.
