The map book has a road map and map information, including data labels for streets, places, workshops, hotels etc.. The road map has a cover and a physical classification between the road map and the map information. The map cuttings and the map information are formed as loose single sheets of paper and longitudinally folded sheets of paper, in the size of practical format, i.e. A5 size. The single sheets of paper either have a water resistant coating or consist of a plastic sheet which is water resistant. A file exists of appropriate format, for reception and removal of the single pieces of paper. The file may be formed as a binder and the single sheets of paper have corresponding margin holes.
