The apparatus includes a distribution component (5) for simultaneous reception of any number of TV programmes via any transmission path, such as terrestrial, cable, satellite (7). The programmes can be displayed simultaneously using one or several screens or monitors (6). The displayed programmes can be influenced according to e.g. image size, number of images, arrangement of images. The process routine for programme presentation and selection can be preprogrammed, postprogrammed or manually controlled.
