Protective tube with a connection

A protective tube with a connection which can be put under tension, comprises a thermoplastic sleeve, and one or more spring members at one end of the tube, with corresp. cut-outs. The cut-outs are formed by stamping, and the tongues are formed by stamping and then applying a sharp edge by cold forming. A snap connection is formed between the tongue sections bent inwards and the holes inside the tube, or the stamped holes and the outwardly bent tongues. Use - The arrangement is used as a protective tube with a connection, eg for use in rockets. Advantage - The tube connection is simple and reliable.
