PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate buildup of high degree communication network by means of ISDN channel through the use of the repeater to compensate a decrease in a communication distance caused on a circuit loss in the ISDN channel and easily applying the spread of ISDN channels having been limited for a range in the vicinity of the location of exchanges due to ISDN channel conversion of conventional analog channels. SOLUTION: In a subscriber line repeater system, a feeder section 3 is provided between an exchange 1 and a line terminator 4 in an ISDN channel which consists of the exchange 1, a repeater 2, the feeder 3, the line terminator 4 and a communication terminal 5, a subscriber side of the feeder 3 where the line terminator 4 is placed supplies power to the repeater 2 and the line terminator 4 to activate them, and the feeder 3 controls a relay function of the repeater 2. |
