PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the optical communication speed. SOLUTION: A memory 11, has a capacitance of m×n bits at least. A latch 12 has a capacitance of m×n bits similarly to the memory 11, and respective bits correspond to the bits of the memory 11. A digital micromirror device(DMD (R))20 is connected to the latch 12. A micromirror 21 of m×n bits is arranged in the matrix of (m) rows × (n columns on the surface of the DMD 20. Each micromirror 21 corresponds to each bit of the latch 12, and the DMD 20 receives data stored in the memory 11 as they are. The data (electric signals) received by the DMD 20 are converted to optical data and transmitted to a CCD 15 by a fiber device 14 having m×n pieces of optical fibers 13.
