PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a defect such as collapse or a crack from occurring at a welded part even if a corrugate processing is carried out to form a high corrugate part. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a coaxial cable that includes such processes that a plate material is placed around the periphery of a core C in which an internal conductor is included, this plate material is formed into a cylindrical shape, a tube-like body K is formed by performing butt welding to the edges of the plate material (refer to a welding torch 4), and corrugate tube is formed by executing a corrugate processing to the tube-like body K, an inactive gas is supplied to the backside of the butted part in butt welding (refer to a helium gas supplying tube 9). |
