FIELD: microwave pulse engineering. SUBSTANCE: pulse shaper has cylindrical resonator with energy input and output members, electronic switch with electrode connected to control signal source and made in the form of waveguide section of lambdaw/2 wavelength shorted out on one end and connected directly to end wall of resonator at distance d/4 from its axis; switch electrode is mounted in hole on side wall of waveguide section at lambdaw/4 distance from its shorted-out wall, where lambdaw is wavelength in waveguide and d is diameter of cylindrical resonator.
