PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having an extremely highly reliable toner-recycling system which, in case an air supply path for sending air to a screw pump or a recovered-toner transfer path for sending recovered toner to a developing device is disconnected as by the coming off of a pipe, detects it immediately. SOLUTION: In the image forming device having cleaning units 300 and 400 for cleaning and recovering residual toner after image formation and a recovered-toner transfer unit 320 for transferring the recovered toner to the developing device, the recovered-toner transfer unit 320 being equipped with a powder pump (screw pump) 330 and an air pump 360 for mixing the recovered toner with air by the sending of the air into the powder pump 330 and causing it to flow, the coming off of the air supply pipe 362 or recovered-toner transfer pipe 380 is detected based on running load on the air pump 360. |
