PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser donor heat-sensitive coloring agent donor element containing a group of infrared absorption coloring agent not to be transferred by the exposure amount beyond 300 mJ/ft2 substantially. SOLUTION: A coloring agent donor element for the heat-sensitive coloring agent transfer is provided with a substrate with a coloring agent layer containing a coloring agent dispersed in a binder on its surface, and the coloring agent layer contains a bonded infrared absorption cyanine coloring agent with at least two sulfonic acid groups, and the cyanine coloring agent is a coloring agent donor element for the heat-sensitive coloring agent transfer represented by formula, wherein respective Ws represent atom forming a 6-member aromatic ring individually, respective Xs represent S or C(CH3)2 individually, respective Ys represent C2-C5 alkylene group individually and Z represents C1 or C1-C4 alkylsulfonyl group. |
