PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust the amount of water in a water supply line and always keep the amount of water in a desirable value. SOLUTION: A water recovery device for recovering steam in air exhausted from a fuel cell stack is controlled according to the amount of water in a tank in a water supply line. When the water recovery device is turned off before the amount of water in the tank becomes excess, after that, the condensation of steam stops, and reaction water is not taken in the water supply line. Steam evaporated in the water supplied to the fuel cell stack is not recovered with the water recovery device, and exhausted to the outside of the line. The amount of water in the water supply line is gradually decreased at the same time as the turning off of the water recovery device. When the water recovery device is turned on before the amount of water in the water supply line becomes short, reaction water is taken in, and the amount of water in the water supply line is gradually increased. By repeating these control, the amount of water in the water supply line is always kept constant. |
