The arrangement has an acquisition device (4), a checking device (5), at least one storage device (6), an output device (4) and a controller for the different devices. At least one temporary storage device (3) can be connected via a diverter-controlled conveyer to the checking and/or acquisition and/or output and/or storage devices. The temporary storage device holds notes of up to a defined value or to a defined fill level. The remaining notes are stored in the other storage device(s). Notes in the temporary storage device are conveyed to the output device for paying out. An Independent claim is also included for a method of acquiring, storing and paying out banknotes. |
