PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an index tape which can have a variety of shapes and hues and by which contents of memos are easily discriminated. SOLUTION: The present invention provides the index tape characterized by containing an index tape member constituted of a paper or a vinyl substance and with an arbitrary hue, the first discrimination part formed on at least one face of the index tape member and having an arbitrary hue, the second discrimination part formed on at least one face of the index tape member and having an arbitrary hue being different hue from that of the first discrimination part and an adhesive means formed on the underside of the index tape member and having an adhesive force being stuck on a specified position. In addition, it is desirable to form the third discrimination part on the second discrimination part. It is possible by such a constitution as this to constitute the index tape into a variety of shapes and patterns and width of selection is widened in accordance with the taste of a user. In addition, when a memo is written on the index tape as necessary, content of the memo can be easily discriminated.
