摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice milling device which can efficiently mill rice while suppressing the generation of chipped rice and broken rice and can mill the rice while embryos are made to remain in a relatively short time even if the number of revolutions of a rice milling body is dropped. SOLUTION: The rice milling body 23 comprises a rice milling body base part 24 of an oval type which is provided with a revolving shaft at its center and a friction body 25 which is mounted at the outer peripheral surface of an arc surface 24A in the rice milling body base part. Many projecting parts 26 which are perpendicular to the rotating direction of the rice milling body 23 are formed in parallel to each other on the outer surface of the friction body 25. In rice milling, unpolished rice is co-rotated together with the rotation of the rice milling body base part 24 by the projecting parts 26 of the friction body 25, by which not only the differences in the rotating speeds between the rice milling body 23 and the unpolished rice are decreased but the vigorous collision of the rice milling body 23 and the unpolished rice by the acute-angled contact of the unpolished rice with the friction body 25 is suppressed. The unpolished rice near the friction body 25 is co-rotated with the rice milling body base part 24, by which the unpolished rice grains are actively moved around, the unpolished rice grains are well rubbed against each other and the unpolished rice is milled.
