PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically monitor a system and to insure data transfer that is not complicated by consisting of an optical connecting device which is for data exchange between devices and connecting units which is for switching an optical signal and making the connecting units comprise a transmitter and a receiver which are connected to a demultiplexer and a multiplexer. SOLUTION: This optical connecting device 4 is mounted in respective installation units 2 in enclosed space, is for performing data exchange between devices that mutually communicate with an optical signal from connecting units 3 and includes one transmitter and one receiver whose connecting units 3 are respectively connected to a multiplexer and a demultiplexer. The units 3 are installed on the units 2 and the device 4 is established by doing that. The device 4 can also be provided with a mechanical protective device 14. The device 14 insures that an optical path is not interrupted by an object and a person and that data communication is prevented from being interrupted due to that. |
