PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable simple, easy, and suitable formation of a joint even by an amateur, the joint being formed by filing bonding mortar cement or the like when block bodies such as bricks for use in construction, civil engineering, landscape architecture, etc., are cumulated on each other or aligned like a plane. SOLUTION: The plurality of block bodies are adjacently arranged by cumulating the same on each other or aligning the same like a plane. One surface in an aligning direction of the block bodies, e.g. a front surface, has a projection formed thereon, and another surface, e.g. a rear surface, of the block has a recess formed therein at a location corresponding to the projection. Then, the height dimension of the projection is set larger than the depth dimension of the recess by a predetermined value, and therefore when the block bodies are aligned, the projection of the block body is fitted into or engaged with the recess of the block body adjacent to the former one. In this manner, the positional relation between the mutually adjacent block bodies is determined, and a predetermined gap is formed between the mutually adjacent block bodies.
