PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio set with which a user can easily receive the broadcast of a radio station over a network. SOLUTION: The radio set is provided with a retrieval part 40 for retrieving a server distributing sound information via the network by using an IP address assigned uniquely to the server connected to the network, an address setting part 34 for setting the IP address according to operation by a user, and an interstation sound generation part 44 for generating an interstation sound, corresponding to a difference between these IP addresses, when the IP address set by the part 34 does not match the IP address of the server retrieved by the part 40.
